Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and shipping containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack products according to customer orders and verify quantities.
- Inventory Management: Use barcode scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized and free of clutter to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to follow safety instructions and operating procedures.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred.
