Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trucks, trailers, and railcars efficiently and safely.
- Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, following all safety protocols.
- Inspect merchandise for damage and report discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Organize stock in designated warehouse zones to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Process paperwork, including packing slips and delivery manifests, with high accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and ability to read labels and pick lists accurately.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions (loading docks).
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required; we provide training.
