Responsibilities
- Supervise 15-20 warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Implement lean principles to optimize picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Manage inventory control systems and conduct cycle counts
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock operations
- Resolve operational issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Generate performance reports and KPI tracking for management review
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Forklift certification required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience with inventory management and process optimization
- High school diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred
