Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and condition.
- Material Movement: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move stock within the facility safely.
- Packaging & Shipping: Prepare items for shipment using proper packaging materials and labeling methods.
- Organization: Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and keep the storage area organized and clean.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other departments to ensure seamless workflow operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Skills: Ability to operate forklifts (certification is a plus) and basic warehouse equipment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate a busy warehouse floor.
- Technical: Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory software or RF scanners.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
