Job Overview
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. You will ensure that products are stored, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to advance their career in logistics and warehousing.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently using various material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, quantity, and condition.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to update inventory levels and track stock movement.
- Package and prepare orders for shipping in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and operational deadlines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software and handheld scanning devices quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols and quality control.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
