Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment according to strict safety and quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and organize stockrooms to ensure optimal workflow.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (after training), and conveyor systems safely and correctly.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage and ensure packaging meets company specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace at all times.
- Shipping & Receiving: Assist with loading and unloading trucks and verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation and a positive attitude.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required for this entry-level role.
