Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently locate, select, and prepare merchandise for shipment using hand-held scanners and computer systems.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring stock levels meet operational demands.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to move, stack, and organize inventory. Training provided for qualified candidates.
- Material Handling: Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe by following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and 5S guidelines.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before processing to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome entry-level applicants who are eager to learn and work hard.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50-70 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime if needed.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic and using computer terminals or handheld devices.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when scanning items and managing inventory.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
