Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers and trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Sort, pack, and label merchandise accurately to ensure correct shipping.
- Perform daily inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track shipments.
- Assist in organizing warehouse aisles and maintaining proper storage protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic reading and math skills for inventory and labeling tasks.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions if applicable to dock operations.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Efficiently load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided).
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan items and update inventory logs to ensure stock accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with high attention to detail.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Reliability: Punctual attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license (Class C) is required for some driving duties.
- Experience: No prior warehouse experience is required; we provide full training.
