Responsibilities
- Receive and Inspect: Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and perform quality control checks.
- Pick and Pack: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and organizing stock to optimize warehouse flow.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as required.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Load/Unload: Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper securing of goods.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus; on-the-job training provided.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
