Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment using handheld scanners and RF devices.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system.
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Organization: Keep workstations and aisles clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Licensing: Valid forklift certification (Class A/B/C) is a plus but not required; training provided.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse software (WMS) is highly desirable.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a team-oriented setting.
