Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move inventory.
- Pick and pack orders: Accurately fulfill customer orders according to pick tickets and packing slips.
- Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels in the WMS system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor organized and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency (Excel, WMS experience a plus).
- Availability: Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
