Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, counting, and stocking merchandise to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Packaging: Properly package and label goods for shipment, ensuring all items are secured and ready for delivery.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damages or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary paperwork and logs for all daily operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and walk on various surfaces.
- Equipment: Familiarity with warehouse equipment (forklift, scanner) is preferred but not required.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends and overtime.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high accuracy in inventory counts.
