Responsibilities
- Receiving and Storing: Inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy, then store merchandise in the correct locations.
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick orders using handheld scanners and pack them securely for shipment.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Inventory Management: Assist in conducting regular cycle counts and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Resolve minor discrepancies with orders and communicate issues to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation and a positive work history.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
