Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise: Safely handle freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to ensure efficient inventory movement.
- Pick and pack orders: Accurately select and prepare customer orders for shipment, adhering to strict quality standards.
- Inventory management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and report discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Workspace organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Shipping and receiving: Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify against packing slips.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
- Physical stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and data entry.
- Basic computer skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners (RF guns) and basic warehouse software.
- Reliable transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
