Responsibilities
- Select and Verify: Pick merchandise from the warehouse floor based on order tickets, ensuring accuracy and verifying item descriptions.
- Pack and Prepare: Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Inventory Management: Scan barcodes and maintain accurate records of stock levels as you process orders.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate handheld scanners and power jacks (if certified).
- Maintain Standards: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and report any issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with no experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and walk throughout the facility.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and the ability to read labels and orders clearly.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Focus: Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
