Responsibilities
- Retrieve merchandise from storage bins using scanners or pick lists to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Package items securely using boxes, tape, and wrapping materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Label, sort, and organize stock in the warehouse to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks during shift changeovers to maintain logistics flow.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow pick lists and safety guidelines.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and reduce errors.
- Must be reliable and punctual with a consistent work history.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
