Responsibilities
- Execute Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack products from the warehouse floor according to customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor to maintain accurate stock records.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial trucks, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems as required by the workflow.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect items for damage or defects before packaging and ensure all packing materials are used correctly.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to prevent workplace accidents.
- Organization: Keep workstations and aisles clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure an efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods (8-10 hours) and lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize errors in order picking and packing.
- Reliability: Punctual with a proven track record of attendance and dependability.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read labels, verify quantities, and perform basic calculations.
- Communication: Effective verbal communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
