Job Overview:
As a Picker Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for selecting items from the warehouse shelves, packing them securely for shipment, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Pick & Pack: Accurately pick items from inventory and pack them into boxes or crates for shipment according to customer orders.
- Quality Control: Verify that all items are correctly selected and packaged to prevent shipping errors and returns.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels by scanning barcodes and updating inventory logs.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (certification provided if needed).
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure safety compliance.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to operate warehouse equipment.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting and verifying products.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and have a consistent work history.
- Basic Math: Comfortable with basic addition and subtraction for inventory checks.
