Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor techniques.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
- Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock levels are correct.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage before shipping and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and perform basic maintenance on warehouse equipment such as forklifts and conveyors.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) consistently.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanning devices is a plus.
- Attitude: Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
