Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport materials to and from the warehouse facility using appropriate equipment.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and organizing stock to ensure efficient workflow.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to housekeeping protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure proper packaging to prevent loss during transit.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to understand safety instructions and order tickets.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Forklift Certification: Previous forklift experience is a plus but not required (training provided).
