Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damages, and correct labeling.
- Organize warehouse inventory and maintain a clean, safe, and clutter-free workspace.
- Prepare products for shipping by packaging, wrapping, and labeling items according to standards.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels and update inventory records.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Reliable transportation to the New Orleans facility.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required (training provided).
