Responsibilities
- Unload incoming shipments and sort materials by destination/department
- Load trucks efficiently while adhering to weight distribution guidelines
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification provided)
- Maintain inventory accuracy through systematic scanning and documentation
- Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies immediately
- Collaborate with team to optimize loading sequences and dock schedules
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or loading experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Basic math skills for inventory verification
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid government-issued photo ID
