Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload products from delivery trucks onto pallets or shelves using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies immediately.
- Packing & Labeling: Properly package items for shipping, applying appropriate labels and ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping floors, organizing storage areas, and removing debris.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting is preferred but not required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Documentation: Ability to read and understand basic safety instructions, pick lists, and shipping labels.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
