Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Organization: Organize, stack, and tag inventory in designated storage areas to ensure maximum space utilization and accessibility.
- Accuracy Checks: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by strictly adhering to all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanning equipment accurately and efficiently.
- Damage Control: Identify and report damaged goods immediately to maintain inventory quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required for our paid training program.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and a history of reliable attendance.
- Communication: Basic English skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain focus and accuracy during high-volume operations.
