The Role:
As a Warehouse Loader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive their orders accurately and on time. You will work closely with inventory management systems to track shipments and ensure safety compliance at all times.
Responsibilities
- Load & Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts (training provided).
- Packing: Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, utilizing appropriate materials.
- Inventory Accuracy: Scan barcodes and update inventory logs to maintain accurate stock records.
- Organization: Maintain a neat, organized, and safe workspace by following 5S principles.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and report discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required (we provide training).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when scanning and handling inventory.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.
- Basic Tech Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic computer systems.
