Responsibilities
- Load & Unload: Safely load and unload freight onto and off of trucks, ensuring weight distribution is balanced.
- Inventory Accuracy: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials efficiently.
- Packaging: Properly package and label goods to prevent damage during transit.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized and free of hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and log daily activities accurately.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions if applicable (loading dock).
