Responsibilities
- Load & Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trailers and trucks using provided heavy equipment.
- Inventory Verification: Check incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, quantity, and condition.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials efficiently.
- Organization: Maintain an organized warehouse layout to ensure quick retrieval and storage of goods.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and wear provided PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic reading and math skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
- Background: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
