Responsibilities
- Safe Loading/Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks and trailers using provided equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) in compliance with safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan, tag, and verify incoming and outgoing inventory to ensure stock accuracy.
- Equipment Handling: Operate warehouse equipment (provided by company) to move pallets and heavy goods efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet quality standards before being processed.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the loading and storage areas.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and digital logs related to shipments and inventory movements.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as required.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Equipment Certification: Willingness to obtain forklift certification (we provide training).
