Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trailers, trucks, and shipping containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading and packing lists.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment to prevent accidents.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to update inventory status and track stock levels.
- Ensure all safety regulations and company policies are strictly followed at all times.
- Assist in inventory counts, stock rotation, and order picking as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and temperatures.
- Valid driver's license (if driving company vehicles).
