Responsibilities
- Safely Load and Unload: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently.
- Inventory Verification: Check incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Equipment Care: Perform routine inspections of loading equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders for delivery in a timely manner to meet daily targets.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all required shipping and receiving paperwork and digital logs.
Qualifications
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and perform physical labor in various conditions.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus; however, we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- License: Valid driver's license required; must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping documentation.
- Availability: Must be available for flexible shifts, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
