Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload trucks and containers using proper equipment and techniques to prevent damage.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing merchandise against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and reducing shrinkage.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified) to move stock efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment with precision and speed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse environment to optimize workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various terrains.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Documentation: Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counts and strong attention to detail.
