Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks and pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in checking incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery and equipment in compliance with all safety regulations and company protocols.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, mopping, and organizing storage areas.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before processing and report any issues to supervisors immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team to meet daily productivity targets and deadlines.
- Documentation: Accurately complete required paperwork, including delivery logs and inventory sheets.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on details to ensure accuracy in loading and inventory counts.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
- Work History: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Team Player: Ability to communicate clearly and work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- High School Diploma: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
