Responsibilities
- Operational Efficiency: Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Palletizing: Stack merchandise and pallets securely according to safety guidelines and weight distribution standards.
- Inventory Accuracy: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Record Keeping: Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to log inventory data in real-time.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and comfort with handheld scanning devices.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and possess a strong work ethic.
