Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload trucks and trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Packing & Labeling: Properly package items, apply shipping labels, and secure cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment and report any issues.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols at all times.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including floor sweeping and debris removal.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- License: Valid Driver's License required; Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory and shipping tasks.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
