Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor to ensure accurate inventory counts.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of loading equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse organized and maintain a clean, orderly workspace to maximize efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not always required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- License: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Forklift Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but we provide training for qualified candidates.
