Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently to ensure timely delivery.
- Organize and stack merchandise on pallets or shelves according to company guidelines and safety regulations.
- Inspect freight for damage and document any discrepancies immediately.
- Operate handheld scanners and inventory management systems to track stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including the warehouse floor and staging zones.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (loading docks, outdoor areas).
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
