Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise: Safely and efficiently move products from trucks to the warehouse floor or vice versa using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory management: Assist in the accurate counting and tagging of stock to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Equipment operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to transport heavy goods within the facility.
- Workspace maintenance: Keep the loading dock and storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Safety compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Quality control: Inspect products for damage during transit and report any discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED: Basic education is required.
- Physical stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail: Keen eye for accuracy when counting and organizing inventory.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and have a consistent work history.
- Valid driver's license: (Preferred) Ability to operate a personal vehicle for work-related travel.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory.
