Job Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and safe loading and unloading of freight, ensuring that inventory is preserved and logistics timelines are met. If you are physically fit, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and shipping containers safely, adhering to weight limits and safety regulations.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing merchandise for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Assist in inventory control by accurately counting and tagging stock.
- Follow all company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory and counting tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
