Responsibilities
- Load & Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload products onto and off of trucks, trailers, and pallets using forklifts and pallet jacks (equipment provided).
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Organization: Sort, stock, and organize inventory in designated warehouse areas to maintain optimal workflow.
- Machinery Operation: Operate warehouse machinery and equipment, including forklifts and RF scanners, with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety standards and company policies.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Equipment: Willingness to operate forklifts and pallet jacks; training provided if necessary.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform physical labor.
- Documentation: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
