Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks efficiently.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse zones to optimize workflow.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage, count items, and verify accuracy against packing slips.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area to prevent accidents and ensure safety.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with general inventory management tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we provide training.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of forklift and pallet jack operations is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions when loading/unloading docks.
