Responsibilities
- Load & Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise onto and off of trucks, utilizing proper equipment and techniques to prevent damage.
- Machinery Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move inventory within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in scanning, sorting, and organizing stock to ensure accurate inventory levels and order fulfillment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or errors, reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Documentation: Accurately complete shipping paperwork, tags, and logs for all processed orders.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs), and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and operating machinery.
- Equipment Training: Willingness to learn and operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided).
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
