Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Organize stock in designated storage areas to maintain an orderly warehouse environment.
- Operate handheld scanners and inventory management software to track stock levels.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to prevent workplace accidents.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipment, including packaging and labeling.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar role is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Valid driver's license (for warehouse vehicle operation, if applicable).
