Responsibilities
- Safely Load and Unload: Efficiently handle goods from trucks and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Verification: Check shipments against packing lists to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies immediately.
- Packaging: Properly package and label items to ensure safe transit and damage prevention.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse floor at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Team Coordination: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to meet daily productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Proven history of punctuality and dependability (attendance is critical).
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to understand safety instructions and labels.
