Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise onto and from delivery trucks, ensuring items are secured properly.
- Inventory Management: Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing stock using handheld scanners and inventory logs.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials efficiently.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment in a timely manner.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use inventory management software.
- License: Forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
