Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and containers in a safe and efficient manner using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading to ensure accuracy.
- Organize, stack, and secure merchandise on pallets or shelves according to safety protocols.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products are not damaged during the loading process.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as required by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory verification.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in varying temperature conditions.
