Responsibilities
- Safe Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, and dollies.
- Inventory Accuracy: Verify incoming shipments against packing lists and ensure accurate stock placement.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on material handling equipment and report any issues.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment to prevent accidents.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking and packing orders efficiently to meet daily targets.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for long periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not required.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation and a clean driving record.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to count accurately and follow instructions precisely.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
