Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently and accurately, ensuring cargo security.
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, in compliance with safety standards.
- Sort, organize, and stock inventory items in designated storage areas to maintain optimal workflow.
- Perform routine quality checks on outgoing packages to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding inventory levels and potential logistical issues.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for scanning barcodes, counting inventory, and verifying orders.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse facility.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
