Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately retrieve products from shelves using scanners and handheld devices to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels and assist in periodic inventory audits to ensure data integrity.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards before shipment.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and log orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) accurately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory management is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the Bakersfield facility.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Basic computer literacy and ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
