Portland Distribution Hub is seeking highly motivated Picker Packer professionals to join our expanding team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Select and retrieve merchandise from the warehouse floor based on customer orders and pick lists.
- Inspect items for quality and damage, ensuring only perfect products are shipped.
- Package and label orders securely using appropriate materials.
- Verify order accuracy against invoices and packing slips before dispatch.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory status.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times to comply with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to improve workflow efficiency and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8-10 hour shifts).
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
