Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control systems and implement efficient receiving/shipping procedures
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet daily/weekly operational targets
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance scheduling
- Analyze KPIs and implement process improvements for productivity gains
- Manage warehouse documentation including cycle counts and quality reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics
- OSHA certification and forklift operation skills required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations preferred
- Experience with lean manufacturing/6 Sigma methodologies
- Valid California driver's license
